- Abstract
This article discusses the ineffectiveness of apremilast in treating moderate-to-severe cases of pemphigus, an autoimmune blistering disease. The authors present three cases of patients with pemphigus who did not respond to apremilast treatment. Despite its potential benefits in modulating inflammatory mediators and promoting the generation of regulatory T cells, apremilast did not alleviate symptoms in these patients. The authors suggest that further research is needed to validate these findings.
