- Abstract
The article focuses on the transition of electronic cinemas or more commonly known as digital cinemas. The rise of electronic cinemas resulted to economic and cultural consequences which brought several debates by media forms and institutions over the past century, opposing its technological and commercial accomplishments. By 19th century, attempts were made to deliver and introduce these electronic images to the public audience. Moreover, media critics and industry observers were also interviewed regarding the rise of electronic technologies. Thus, in the 20th century, industry leaders were able to adapt to the technological shift in the landscape of the innovative digital cinemas. Moreover, the new digital display technologies served as a connection to the society and the world.
