- Abstract
The authors reflect on the management of fertility in women with familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH) in Great Britain. They note that FH is a genetic disorder which is characterized by very high serum cholesterol levels. They also emphasizes that the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has published guidelines which recommends systematic family tracing for the identification and management of people with FH. Other details of the NICE guidelines are also discussed.
