- Abstract
The article informs on ongoing green peafowl protection in China. It mentions that large infrastructure projects are potentially damaging to biodiversity due to the construction of the Jiasajiang Level 1 Hydropower Station within the Red River Upstream District. It also mentions about China's ambitious Ecological Civilization Plan launched for the conservation of the green peafowl and the other threatened species and ecosystems in the country.
