- Abstract
The author discusses an accompanying article in the issue by Mark L. Latash and colleagues on the human motor control system. The author cites other researchers whose perspectives on neural motor controllers differ from that of Latash and his team. The author refers to researcher A.G. Feldman and his school of thought on motor control that he says Latash adheres to. The author also comments on Latash's scheme of control hierarchy, calling it logical, but paradoxical. The author says that the paradox relates to the central nervous system and the variance of output signal availability with the level of hierarchy.
