- Title
The soup tureens of kings and queens, at the Campbell Museum.
- Abstract
The article discusses the artifact collection of the Campbell Soup Company. Campbell's collection is both unique and appropriate in that it comprises soup tureens and associated items. Over 400 tureens are housed at the Campbell Museum in New Jersey. Among the items are a tureen manufactured for Augustus III who became King of Poland in 1733, and a dinner service used at the 1825 marriage of Princess Louise of Prussia and the Netherlands' Prince Frederick. Museum president Ralph Collier loans pieces to other museums around the world.
