- Abstract
The article presents information related to the crystallization of a complex of components A and B of methane monooxygenase. Methane monooxygenase is a multienzyme system, that has been reconstructed as a holoenzyme from three components A, B, and C. Component A, hydroxylase, is a dimer whose monomer itself consists of three subunits. The whole molecule of component A has a molecular mass 250 kDa. Component C is a reductase of 45 kDa, which is responsible for electron transfer from NADH to component A. The three-dimensional structure of component C was also established.
