- Abstract
The authors focus on antibodies related to the sampling of antibodies for H5 subtype avian influenza virus (AIV) and Japanese encephalitis virus in Anas acuta. They inform that blocking enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and hemagglutination inhibition assay have been used to test samples for the presence of AIV and spread of zoonotic pathogens. They mention that lack of samples positive for West Nile virus provides evidence for its limited involvement in the spread of flaviviruses.
