- Abstract
The article offers information on a research which investigated the role of endoscopic ultrasound in evaluating rectal polypoid lesions in dogs. The invasion depth of the polypoid lesion was classified into three categories including M stage involving lesions in the mucosa, SM stage involving lesions in the mucosa and submucosa, and MP stage involving lesions in the muscularis propria. It informs that determination of the invasion depth of polypoid lesions is useful in evaluating malignancy.
