- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the putative antiviral activity of chicken 2'-5' oligoadenylate synthetase-like (OASL) (ChOASL) by ectopic expression in mammalian cells with West Nile virus (WNV) replicon. The study used Western blot analysis, fluorescence analysis, and Southern blotting hybridization. Results show that the antiviral activity of chicken through the hybridization indicates that ChOAS are encoded by a single gene.
