- Abstract
A series of novel 2-( substituted-2- benzylidenehydrazinyl)-3-chloropyridine derivatives were designed and synthesized from 2,3-dichloropyridine as starting materials, and their structures were confirmed by ¹H NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The antifungal activity of title compounds was determined. The antifungal assay showed that some of title compounds displayed excellent activity, especially against Stemphylium lycopersici (Enjoji) Yamamoto and Fusarium oxysporum. sp. cucumebrium.
