- Abstract
The article describes how metal nanoparticles can be produced using natural substances from flowers, vegetables, or spices. These green syntheses are environmentally friendly and are well-suited for classroom teaching, as the color of the nanoparticles depends on their size and can be influenced by plant extracts. Examples of such substances are gingerol in ginger, apiin in celery and henna, as well as allicin in onions and garlic. The production of nanoparticles can be simplified by using a household microwave.
