- Abstract
The article presents a study that reported a new mesoparasitic copepod (Pennella filosa) found on a striped marlin caught in the area of Los Cabos in Baja California Sur, Mexico. It says that the mesoparasites were obtained from the muscle tissue of the host Kajikia audax and transported to the laboratory using polyethylene bags for identification. In addition, it mentions that morphology and life cycle of Pennella filosa are less known despite being widely distributed.
