- Authors
Cook, B.; Zeng, N.; Yoon, J.-H.
- Abstract
The article discusses a study which explores the possible destruction of the Amazon rainforest accounted to climate changes. Results of the study indicate that the Amazon rainforest would be stable due to predicted increase of rainfall. However, the southern part of Amazon and central Brazil are threatened to dry out because of a 22% decrease in precipitation and an increase in evaporation demand, cutting down soil moisture.
