- Abstract
The article focuses on the two new sightings for the Spotted Royal butterfly Tajuria maculata in Western Ghats, India. It states that the T. maculata were found at the Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary located in Kodagu District in the southwestern corner of Karnataka, India on November 19,2009. Moreover, a single specimen of the T. maculata were found at the eastern slopes of Kottathalachimala, an isolated mountain in Kannur District in northern Kerala, India on October 2, 2010.
