- Abstract
The article discusses the problems associated with follow-up counseling for rape victims. Topics include some reasons that make follow-up with rape victims difficult, such as denial or suppression of the rape, an overview of the results of a rape victim follow-up study by A. W. Burgess and L. L. Holmstrom, and the author's follow-up counseling research, which includes several case studies.
