- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court case Citizens United vs. Federal Elections Commission in which the First Amendment right of corporations to spend unlimited sums of corporate funds to support or oppose candidates in political elections was upheld. It notes the actions enacted by the grassroots movement Move to Amend which called for an amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The movement aims to establish that human beings, and not corporations, are entitled to constitutional rights.
