- Abstract
The article addresses the racialization of Asian Americans through a consideration of the work of Asian American executives in the advertising industry, highlighting the inclusion of Asian Americans in multicultural advertising campaigns in the U.S. as of June 2013. Topics addressed include representations of Asian American culture in advertisements aimed at targeting South Asian American consumers, Asian American advertising executives' use of ethnic humor in the workplace, and the significance and acceptance of racial diversity in the advertising industry.
