- Abstract
The article reports on the call of doctor Tara A. Young and her colleagues at the University of California in Los Angeles for more effective treatments for choroidal melanoma. Accordingly, Young, along with her colleagues, have conducted a study in which they evaluated the safety and efficacy of tremelimumab in the treatment of 20 metastatic melanoma patients. It mentions the primary outcome of the study which was the potentially toxic effects of CTLA4-blocking antibodies on pigmented and nonpigmented ocular cells.
