- Abstract
The article presents a study on the usage of Musella Lasiocarpa as pig fodder in Southwest China. It investigates the plant's cultivation, consumption quantities and nutrient composition. It focuses on Han Chinese Communities' practices on the plant as fodder and human diet. It also conducts studies on the Yunnan's minority cultural group. The study shows that Musella is also useful for soil and water erosion control, weaving material, medicine, wine brewing and source plant for honey. Ecological adaptation of Musella in southwest China is also presented.
