The article focuses on the new method for solving the general cubic equation involving the insertion of a root to the given cubic converting it to a decomposable quartic equation. It describes the insertion of a root leading to the conversion of the cubic to the quartic equation. It states that the quartic is solved in order to obtain four roots consisting the three roots of the cubic and the inserted root.
