- Abstract
The second part of the Much Ado About Nothing trilogy follows Heraclit's principle: »War is the father and king of all.« The problem of the Slavic sanctuary on the Ptuj Castle is presented by facing key arguments of key players, Josip Korošec and Franjo Baš. Author delves into the main contentions pro et contra interpretation of the Object as a sanctuary with adding the results of new relevant research to these cases. The text moves slowly from the understanding of the Object as a Slavic sanctuary over to the tower from Late Antiquity and/or Middle Ages. Because of the relatively scarce data and unreliable excavation results it is necessary just one of the possible interpretations.
