The article presents an overview of the interpretation of the vanishing trial based on the perspective of economist and philosopher Friedrich A. Hayek. It notes that vanishing trial is the conceptual metaphor used by academics to describe the decline of civil jury trials. It also points out that even if disputes will be resolved, the law will always remain as societal norms will find an expression in spoken and unspoken law.
