Abstract
The article reports that Sera Monastery has announced its reopening for believers and tourists after being closed since March 14, 2008 in Tibet, China. The resumption was said to have followed a visit to the monastery by Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) party Secretary Zhang Qingli. Temples in province were believed to reopen and resume their religious activities after being affected by demonstrations.
