- Abstract
Results of full-scale and model studies of the propagation of high-frequency pulse acoustic signals generated by a snapping shrimp on the shelf of the Sea of Japan in Vityaz Bay are presented. Spatial acoustic measurements were carried out using four hydrophones installed in the sea with a depth of 3 m using metal structures: a pyramid and a frame with a length of 3 m. A numerical simulation was performed using the beam method of imaginary sources and the mode parabolic equation. The simulation results are consistent with full-scale measurements.
