- Title
CONTABILIDAD POÉTICA DE SOR JUANA: FINOS CÁLCULOS Y "ERRORES" CALCULADOS.
- Authors
Egan, Linda
- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the literary work of Mexican poet Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, with a focus on her use of literary images inspired by accounting and arithmetic. It is the author's view that Sor Juana took economic concepts from her work as an accountant and used them in her poetic work to explain her metaphysical ideas in a more direct way. Quotes from her use of economic concepts in poetry are included.
