- Abstract
The article discusses the consideration of attribute values as positions in social space through the classification of personal networks either by structural indices or their composition of alters. It notes that the main structural trends can be yielded by an unsupervised clustering of role graphs which can be constructed by the laying out of personal network. It mentions that acquisition of data for ethnic composition and density has resulted from the combination of multidimensional space of immigrant ego networks.
