- Abstract
The article presents a study that described the macrofaunal assemblage that performs diel vertical migrations for the first time in a shallow, sublittoral soft-bottom habitat in northern Chile. The researchers discussed a short-term experiment using traps for collecting emerging invertebrates in a sublittoral site. They reported 17 taxa of identified benthic invertebrates, principally composed of peracarids, copepods and ostracods.
