- Abstract
The article analyzes whether vitamin D-free diet, which induced a severe deficiency of 25-hydroxy (OH) vitamin D, in Sprague-Dawley rats could synergize with a monoallelic deletion of 71 bp in exon 1 on the development of cardiac and pulmonary arterial dysfunction. Topics discussed include pulmonary pressure, right ventricular hypertrophy, and pulmonary vascular resistance.
