- Title
Global marine analysis suggests food chain collapse.
- Abstract
The article presents the results of a study conducted by marine ecologists Ivan Nagelkerken and Sean Connell and published in the journal " Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America" about the impact of human carbon dioxide emissions on marine ecosystems and the fishing industry. The researchers found that ocean acidification and warming could lead to reduced marine diversity and population, decreased productivity and food chain collapse.
