- Abstract
The article presents events of interest for school children in the U.S. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration invites students in grades 5 to 8, to design systems that will support living and working on the Moon. In this contest, school children will be challenged to design a combination of facilities that support arriving precisely, living adaptively , and working efficiently to enable Moon exploration that can protect both the explorers and the Moon from contamination. The National Wildlife Federation's free monthly newsletter will feature fun stories about wildlife and wild places as well as practical tips on how children can bring nature to their home.
