- Title
ZHANG TAIYAN AND HEIDEGGER AS THINKERS OF THE MEONTOLOGICAL DECLINE.
- Authors
Lin Ma
- Abstract
The article explores philosophers Zhang Taiyan and Martin Heidegger's views on meontological decline embedded in modern Western civilization. It elucidates and assesses Zhang's theory of dual evolution and evil and suffering relating to Buddhism and perceives the role of philosophical Daoism in his thinking. It inquires into Zhang's suggestion of harmonizing between shi and fei versus Heidegger's proclamation of decline as transition into the inception of the Western tradition.
