- Abstract
The article discusses the outbreak of the epidemic of Ebola in the West African nation of Sierra Leone and highlights the efforts of Great Britain in controlling it. Topics discussed include the poor health care system in Africa, transmission, and vaccination. Epidemiological, clinical and social science challenges in transmission are discussed. Strategies include voluntary sequestration, information dissemination and use of personal protective equipment.
