- Abstract
The article reports on the unmet needs for contraceptive practices among young married women in Empowered Action States (EAG) states of India. It was analyzed that a large proportion of married young women aged from 15-24 in the rural areas of empowered action states (EAG) states are not using any kind of contraceptives. It informs that the total need for contraceptives is highest in Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar among the EAG states.
