- Abstract
The author discusses whether the U.S. is safer in 2009 as compared on September 11, 2001 when terrorist attacked the country. He notes that the country needs to continue improving its deployment of various tools against terrorism once assessment shows that it is safer than in the past. He states that the country has become safer as the nation and its foreign allies have improved their security measures. He adds that aside from military force, the country made use of law-enforcement tools in a bid to secure the freedom and safety of its people.
