- Abstract
At the end of the Ms. Venezia, Bibl. Marc., VIII.22 (2760), copied by an English hand toward the last quarter of the 12th century, appear five independant musical diagrams drawn in the first half of the 13th century. They have not attracted the attention of scholars until now, but they are rare enough to deserve a special mention and commentary; one of them, combining instrumental and vocal music, is an unicum. Some arguments may support the hypothesis that the musician and bibliophile of Amiens, Richard of Fournival (1201-1259 or 1260), possessed this manuscript.
