- Abstract
This article discusses the lives and artistic contributions of three European women: Gillian Jagger, Vita Petersen, and Gerda Blumenthal. Gillian Jagger was a sculptor who created sculptures of animals using various materials. Vita Petersen was a painter who focused on abstract expressionism and made black and white paintings towards the end of her life. Gerda Blumenthal was a teacher and writer who had a deep faith in Christianity. The article explores their different approaches to creativity and aging, highlighting their unique perspectives and contributions to the art world.
