The article presents the literary works that describe the working-class culture in the U.S. These includes the poem by Bertolt Brecht entitled "A Worker Reads History" which deals about working-class culture and women's literature. It notes that the study "The Industrial Muse" has discussed functions of working-class art. It mentions the book "The House of Bondage" which shows the lives of workers in the 1900s.
