The article reviews major issues in 2018 that affected the indigenous peoples in the Democratic Republic of Congo, namely the Mbuti, Baka and Batwa. Topics discussed include the conservation status of the Kahuzi Biega National Park, the human rights concerns of the indigenous Batwa, and the conflict between the Luba community and Batwa indigenous peoples in Tanganyika Province.
