- Abstract
The article explains the essence of coaching in improving correctional services. The study applies on polls provided to 95 probation officers during a training program, which involved 3 days of Integrated Behavioral Intervention Strategies classes, and Staff Training Aimed at Reducing Rearrest coaches, which involved interaction with former offenders who volunteered. Results showed that coaching can aid probation officers in learning new correctional skills.
