- Abstract
The article presents a case study regarding the issue of language differences in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) in California. It tackles the Families Promoting Success (FPS) program of LAUSD and the role of family relationships in language learning processes. It notes that both parents and students must work with the intention of biculturalism to increase the potential of literacy development.
