- Abstract
This study aims to evaluate and classify the countries of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development by means of Fuzzy Clustering Analysis and TOPSIS method in terms of the health indicators. It is also aimed to evaluate the position of Turkey in this classification. In this study, the health indicators used are health expenditures, medicine expenditures, number of doctors, number of nurses, and number of hospital beds, per capita. 2015 data are obtained from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development's website. As a result of the Fuzzy Clustering Analysis, it is seen that Turkey took place in the same cluster with Korea, Mexico, and Poland. According to the TOPSIS analysis, the United States of America, Japan, Canada took the first three places, while Turkey ranked the last after Mexico. Compared to other Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development countries, it is found that Turkey had insufficient health resources except for the number of beds per capita, and it is necessary to make corrections and improvements in this respect.
