- Abstract
In the book "The Crown Prince and the Third Reich" by Jürgen Luh, the question of the Hohenzollern's co-responsibility for the rise of National Socialism in Germany is discussed. The author analyzes various stages of the political actions and speeches of Crown Prince Wilhelm of Prussia in the early Nazi era. Luh considers the Crown Prince as an influential person who played an important symbolic role between society and politics. The book provides a precise study of sources and contextualization, although criticism is expressed regarding the focus on Wilhelm of Prussia and the lack of a clear overview of the Hohenzollern dispute.
