- Abstract
The article reports that textile company Fancourt Co. opened its newest plant in September 1970 with open house ceremonies at Ringgold, Georgia. It informs that the new facility houses executive offices, research and development laboratories, and complete manufacturing operations. The executive staff of the plant includes Fred Broadhurst, vice-president of Georgia operations; Milton Smith, assistant plant manager; John Taylor, plant supervisor; Don Gunther, chemist; and Jim Pope, sales. It is stated that the plant was located in Ringgold to serve the Dalton, Georgia-Chattanooga, Tennessee area.
