- Abstract
The article discusses the use of protective mask in quick rehabilitation after rhinoplasty on professional sportsmen. It reveals that nasal fractures is the most frequent injuries of maxillo-facial complex. The primary reason for this is because the nose is the most anterior facial structure. The nose also is composed of bony, cartilaginous and soft tissue. In rhinoplastic surgery athletes are required to rest from sports for 3 to 8 or 12 weeks. A protective mask made of carbon is a appropriate to use after the surgery.
