- Abstract
The Professional Master's in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) was conceived as an action for the effective qualification of servers working in the Federal Network, aiming to improve educational and management practices. Thus, the objective of this research was to learn the results of this Program, by understanding to what extent the production from ProfEPT contributes to improving the quality of Vocational Education in the country. It was conducted a documentary research, with 851 dissertations analyzed, defended in the period from 2018 to 2021, and their respective graduates. Among the graduates, 54.5% are employees of the Federal Network, confirming one of the objectives of ProfEPT, which is the continuous training of these professionals, in an interdisciplinary perspective and at master's level. Approximately 92% of the research was carried out on the Network and the products were applied to different segments, making it possible to infer that research and products are considered a fruitful source of training on EPT, in both student and teacher development. Thus, we conclude that ProfEPT contributes to improving the quality of EPT in Brazil, extending this knowledge to all regions served by the Federal Network of Professional and Technological Education.
