- Abstract
This study aims to verify the state of the art of research in Professional Didactics developed in Brazil, in order to discuss the analysis of work as a theoretical-methodological apparatus to support the formation of the mathematics teacher and the work of the trainer. After conducting a theoretical discussion on Professional Didactics based on Pastré, Mayen and Vergnaud (2006), Pastré (2002) and Tourmen (2014), a state-of-the-art bibliographic survey was carried out, in which 3 theses and 4 dissertations. The results revealed that although there are still few investigations, they have brought relevant contributions to the consolidation of this theoretical aspect as a contribution to the analysis of the work. In addition, it allows investigating the situations developed inside or outside the classroom, whether in initial or continuing education, highlighting pragmatic concepts that guide the actions, choices and decisions taken in the face of complex situations experienced in the teacher's work routine.
