- Abstract
The article focuses on a fieldwork which describes observations of reverse mounting in the Rufous-tailed Hawk, a species endemic to the southern temperate forest ecoregion. Between July and September, the mountings and associated behavior of the specie were recording during the courtship stage. The date, time and duration, place and substrates, behaviors displayed before and after, and whether birds vocalized during the mount were recorded.
