- Abstract
A day old calf was presented with history of large dog bite wound on ventral abdominal and inguinal region. Physical examination revealed grade two wound with extensive loss of skin and exposure of subcutaneous tissue and muscles The wound was lavaged with warm sterile saline solution and debrided to remove devitalized tissue. A skin flap reconstructive surgery was planned by transposition flap technique to close the defect. The wound healed uneventfully within 10 davs post-operatively without any complications.
