- Abstract
The article presents a study which aims to evaluate the effectiveness of image-guided pulmonary radiofrequency (RF) ablation as well as characterize pathomorphology of tissue response. It mentions that RF's minimally invasive character and low therapy-associated morbidity has raised expectations on its potentiality to treat tumors. It affirms that the authors concluded that a computed tomography (CT)-guided pulmonary RF ablation of malignancies is an effective treatment.
